ariana - yep nifty 50! i love it, but its a learning curve using a fixed focus lens... i think NEXT in my camera bag is the Tamron you have! :)
I agree, I tend to miss my zooms when using primes, but the quality is much better than the kit lens and obviously you can let much more light in.
But yeah, you will love the Tamron :)
